Halo Flashpoint

Post by Ectar »

I for one am quite excited for this.
Here is a the first YouTube video by mantic showing off what we can expect in the box.
Looks like it is borrowing basics from Deadzone with cubes for movement which isn't a bad thing, looks like it will be easy to setup and quick to get in to and play.

I'm going to start putting some pennies to one side so I have enough when it launches. I'm going to take a guess at the Spartan edition will be around £139

Interested to hear views on why people are (seemingly) showing more interest in HF than Deadzone, which has a greater variety of factions.

Cheers

For me I loved Halo as a video game, it was and still is an amazing game. The appeal of that as a game I can put on the table and move some minis around just really makes me happy.
I have Deadzone and would love to play more of it but as always there are other games that as a collective we play more.
It is wholly possible that Halo may get assigned to that pile as well but it appears to be a slightly easier pick up and play than Deadzone so being able to do that at home with my son again just adds another level for me.

Ah i see Simon, it's origins is a computer game. An element of nostalgia at play here. Nothing wrong with that for sure.
Glad to see you are bringing along the next generation of gamers.

Thanks for your insight.
