So it finally happened, I have made the heroic leap and stuck the landing and have bought in to Marvel Crisis Protocol. I may start to do a bit more research on this.
I have been looking at the rule books.
The main rules are really cheap but it looks like you then need the specific rules for magic, vikings etc which are a little more pricey.

What is actually needed?
Having never looked at saga as a gaming system I have no idea.
How many minis needed for a warband?
What books are needed?
Any special dice?

I managed to play a solo mission to get to grips with the game.
It is really simple to play (which is great)
The way you can build missions is carried (which is great)
All in all the game is great.
I managed to paint up more of the army guys as well and had a basic layout to play.
